I never thought it would happen since technically going full-time entrepreneur, but what’s meant to be is meant to be! As I grow more disciplined to listen to my own inner voice, my story has become marked by synchronicities & clichés all the time. Take my new job, for instance, a great example that confirms the saying Whatever you are seeking is seeking you.

I’m not sure what the exact definition of a synchronicity is, but when something happens that feels like magic, I consider it one. And lately, things just feel so good! The more I stretch myself and explore my fears, I find there is more passion than anything else lying beneath them.

For a very long time, I knew my higher self was craving an opportunity to use my hands and to express my creativity in a hands-on way. I’ve known I needed to work with fashion and clothing for a very long time (well, since about age 5 actually). I just couldn’t see it!

Part of this was me not allowing myself to receive what I truly desired and deserved in life. The other part was not willing to see outside of my little closed-minded (comfortable) box. My lesson~ when there is a desire to do something, there is always a way!

Last month I was hired to work in visual merchandising at Banana Republic, a brand I happen to adore! I consider this more of an apprenticeship, working directly with the head stylist at BR, learning in a very hands-on manner.

Since starting my own business and moving to Minnesota, I started to feel rather unemployable, as I enjoyed leisurely mornings on my own schedule, journaling, drawing, meditating. I liked to dress how I wanted to dress, act how I wanted to act, and goof off when I wanted to goof off. I had blindly written off getting any sort of a job, as if it were somehow impossible to accommodate my ‘ways’ or was below me.

I had closed my mind & my heart to the possibilities for evolution and greater fulfillment that were literally all around me. Now here I am, on the cusp of expansion and growth, and an opportunity falls into my lap that can teach me exactly what I needed to know- and what I desire!

Whatever you are seeking is seeking you.

What happened? After a long period of soul-searching, time in silence and stillness, and plenty of struggle (always a catalyst for something great), I finally allowed myself to hear my inner voice. That guidance has always been there, but sometimes it is too scary to listen. My ears are open, my eyes are peeled. Life…what else do you have for me today…?

Stay tuned for more to come on my new job. I’m learning the art of styling and I’m honing my craft. I love the contrast from what I do on a daily basis, working with my coaching clients, mainly doing the inside work, and getting out, being more hands-on.

I’m using my creativity, my hands, and my intuitive sense of style. It kinda feels like play! It is incredibly more laborious than sitting at my computer, but that part- I’m not complaining about!
