GLUTEN FREE FLAT BREAD PIZZA

GLUTEN FREE FLAT BREAD PIZZA CRUST!!!!

CLASS @ HONEYVILLE FARMS  1/3/12, 10am!!!!

This is something very close to my heart! My family actually owns a pizzeria, but since going gluten free, I have only been able to indulge in the smell! Until I discovered Honeyville Farms’ Almond flour, started playing around, and came up with something best described as a rustic flat bread crust. This is crispy and does the trick! If you are gluten free, concerned with your blood sugar, or interested in losing weight (why not, it’s a New Year!), I highly suggest you come in for a taste & learn how you can do this on your own- you will be shocked at just how simple it is!!!

3 eggs

1/2 T EVOO

1 T Italian Seasoning (or blend dried oregano, parsley, garlic & thyme)

3 C Almond flour*

1 T baking powder

1 t baking soda

1/4 t sea salt

2 T apple cider vinegar

    Hi Laura

Am I right that you are using blanched almond flour? I know that some people buy almond meal flour, which has the almond skins in it, and it doesn’t produce the same results. You might want to specify what type of almond flour you are using in recipes to avoid confusion.

I look forward to trying the recipe. I think it would be fantastic spread with pesto, dabs of goat cheese, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomato bits, and sliced black olives.

Great to see your new site and all of the wonderful services you are offering!

    With love,
    Chef Rachel

Hi Laura, I am enjoying looking at your recipes. My only question is that you do not tell us how much each recipe will make.
I like this pizza one and would like to make it, but don’t want to have 3 pizzas unless I am doing a pizza party.

    Thanks, Renee

Yes Renee!! This recipe makes approximately 3 mini pizzas, of course dependent on your idea of “mini.” Makes 1 regular size pizza.
      Hope that helps!
